Full Disclaimer & FDA Warning About Chlorine Dioxide
My Story
I am Kerri Rivera and I’m a mother of a child with autism. I am not a medical doctor, I’m just a mom with some hard won experience. I invested many years and large sums of money going to doctors and alternative health practitioners to find help for my child. After doing that, I was so exasperated one day I finally called out to heaven and asked for help in finding a solution. That is when I decided to try the chlorine dioxide (MMS at that time) I had learned about. My son showed great improvement immediately. It was a long process of trial and error for me to learn what diet, supplements and dosing of chlorine dioxide would work best, but my son steadily improved.
I observed the results carefully and the more I learned what worked, the more I began sharing it with other moms I knew who had children with autism. At that time Facebook groups were starting to grow and it was a good place to share my information and help other moms. After doing that for a number of years and seeing good results, some friends helped me write a book about my experiences and the diet, supplements, other therapies and chlorine dioxide protocols that I was using and recommending to others.
I was spending countless hours and all my time helping other moms to recover their kids and I did this for many years at no charge to anyone. Friends who were close to me kept telling me to start a consulting business so I could receive some payment for my time. This is around the time my book came out and I also earned a degree. So I did start offering paid consults. This allows people to sign up for a specific time frame and I help them with my full attention. I also still help people with free advice all the time through various means of communication.
Censorship of “Unproven” Therapies
One thing I’ve learned over my years of helping teach others the simple self-help techniques I have used, such as diet, supplements, and chlorine dioxide, they have come under severe attack by government authorities and big tech companies such as Amazon, YouTube and Facebook. If you are using self-help techniques like this and telling others about it, these companies and the government authorities will censor you. My book was removed by Amazon and my Facebook support groups were deleted by Facebook, and YouTube has removed my videos. Censorship is real and pervasive when you are doing something outside of the mainstream.
The government authorities and big tech companies say they are engaging in this censorship in order to protect the public from “misrepresentation of results” and “unproven” products or protocols. I don’t have any desire to misrepresent results or claim something is proven when it’s not. I believe in being honest and also working within the legal system. I know the system is not perfect and special interests that are not elected and not operating for the benefit of the public often exercise great influence over governmental and big tech company systems. Nevertheless, I believe in working within the system, and making every effort to change the system lawfully. That is the most effective way to bring change.
All parents need to know there are child protection laws put in place in most countries that make it easy for government authorities to take children away from parents who are using any sort of self-help treatment that is disfavored by the authorities. And when we had Facebook groups there would be “trolls” who would enter the groups and attempt to report parents using chlorine dioxide protocols to their local authorities. This creates a big problem for parents who must then fight to keep their children. You need to use extreme care whenever you are posting online about treating your child with anything outside the mainstream medical establishment.
“Unproven” Personal Reports Offered to Stimulate Scientific Investigation
I want to avoid any misrepresentation about personal reports of results. The self-help techniques I recommend in my book and here are “unproven” in the sense they are not proven by scientific studies to be safe and effective treatments for autism. No scientific studies have been attempted because no funding has been made available. I am only attempting to honestly relate personal (anecdotal) reports from myself and others in hopes of stimulating scientific investigation. These should be taken simply as personal reports from people who were happy with the results they saw and reached out to me to share their story. These stories were not made up by me, they were actually sent to me by others and based on my experience they appear to be true. Some are the result of a long course of my helping the parents and I have every reason to believe they are accurate.
The reports I include here from others are unsolicited reports sent to me usually via email by someone who is grateful. I am not saying these constitute scientific evidence or that they are representative of results that may occur, or that they have been substantiated by anyone with authority. These are merely positive reports I’ve received and I hope to stimulate scientific investigation of the techniques I have been using and recommending to find out why so many people sent in reports like this. It seems to me there is something worthwhile to learn here if we investigate more thoroughly.
I wish I had funding for scientific studies of the self-help techniques I have recommended in my book. I have witnessed amazing results that would be worthy of scientific study, if achieving results was the true objective of medical science. Instead, when we look at the current medical system we see that effectively it ensures mostly only patentable pharmaceutical substances get the funding. The patentability of a product is far more important than the results it achieves. Something that is cheap and effective but completely unpatentable, does not get any scientific funding. This is what the vested interests in the current system will allow, and this is why the range of health products available to us is limited and not very effective. Some people are finding they get better results by going outside the mainstream system of medical thought. Under the freedoms we still have, this can be done if we use wisdom and discretion in going about it.
FDA Consumer Update Warning About Chlorine Dioxide
Anyone considering the use of chlorine dioxide needs to be aware the US Food and Drug Administration has issued a Consumer Update warning against the use of chlorine dioxide, see https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer-updates/danger-dont-drink-miracle-mineral-solution-or-similar-products. This warning and this stance taken by a government agency should be considered carefully by all parents. These chemicals are hazardous materials that need to be handled with respect. In addition, dosages and guidelines need to be understood and followed carefully. Myself and many other moms have found we could learn to use chlorine dioxide effectively, but this has yet to be recognized by government authorities.
My recommendation is for parents to find a doctor who will be on board and supportive of using any of the self help techniques I recommend. If you go searching, there are doctors who will be supportive. Many of the parents I have helped, have had doctors on board. Also recognize that a stance like this by the FDA makes it easy for child protective agencies to take children away from parents using chlorine dioxide. This is where it would be very helpful to have a supportive doctor. It’s also important to learn to use discretion when you are undertaking self help techniques that don’t have mainstream support, or that are under active government censorship. It is still possible to operate within the system, just search for a supportive doctor and be wise in understanding the ways of government and big industry which appear to want to limit your choices.
And just to show what’s possible. I do know of one child protection case that went to trial in a European country. In that case the parents hired experts who came in and proved to the court that the chlorine dioxide treatment being used was safe and medically permissible. Those parents won their case and witnessed excellent results for their child with autism. These parents had the resources to hire experts to prove their case. This is costly and it’s better to avoid getting into this situation if possible, but it shows what can be done if you have the resources for a good defense.
